Terms and Conditions for Equestrian Coaching
By booking a lesson with Rebecca Hayes Equestrian, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Cancellation Policy
- A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson, 50% of the lesson fee will be charged.
- Exceptions to the 24-hour cancellation policy will be made in the event of weather warnings, or horse or rider injury or illness. Please notify us as soon as possible in these cases.
- In the case of the block of 4 lessons offer, sessions will be provisionally booked at the beginning of the month, but I understand life can be unpredictable, so dates can be adjusted if necessary. If a session needs to be cancelled due to weather warnings or illness and cannot be rescheduled within the month, the cost of that session can be credited toward the following month’s block of sessions, OR put toward an individual session (with a €5 top-up to match the individual session rate).
2. Insurance
- All riders are required to have personal injury insurance.
- It is also highly recommended that riders ensure their horses are adequately insured.
3. Safety Equipment
- A correctly fitting helmet, meeting the current Eventing Ireland standards, is required for all lessons. It is the responsibility of the client or the client’s guardian if under 18 years of age to ensure that this standard is met.
- Body protectors are not compulsory, but they are strongly recommended for safety.
4. Booking and Payment
- Lessons are booked and confirmed upon receipt of payment. Payments are non-refundable unless the lesson is cancelled by the instructor.
5. Liability
- Rebecca Hayes Equestrian and its staff are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during lessons. Riders participate at their own risk.
6. General
- All riders must follow the instructions of their coach and maintain appropriate conduct while on the premises. Failure to do so may result in termination of the lesson.
